It has officially been a week since the release of my documentary 'Homeless in London', and the feedback has been so overwhelming I literally don't know where to start!

The feedback received from this documentary was highly appreciated, so I'd be able to have it in mind whilst making the next one...

On a cold evening in Central London, I grabbed a friend with an iPad camera, planned a good amount of what I was going to do during the filming and interview process, and found a lovely homeless man called Tony to discuss the issues and also raise awareness of the mistreatment of homeless people living in London.

I spoke to Tony like the person he is, a human being. I was so pleased with how open and kind enough he was to speak with me over a coffee, let alone film him!

After a few weeks of trying to obtain the most appropriate editing I could, the documentary was finished, and ready to be published. Of course, there were faults that I had identified during the editing process(mainly sound during the interview), and that was due to not using the most appropriate equipment for it (which I happily have now - yay!!)

However, I believe in a stepping stone, growth, processes, and learning. The main message I wanted to get across was to raise awareness of an issue barely any of us were aware of. My happiest achievement during this process was getting that message across to the public.

A MASSIVE thank you to everyone that showed love for my work, the little things such as a 'like', comment or share brought me so much joy! Major love to you all :)

WATCH. THIS. SPACE.

As we are approaching a new month, I am approaching my next documentary and project! It will be much more professional, and I am really excited to get started on it!

And as I always say; stay tuned ;)

Peace and love!! X
As I'm at the point where I'm brushing up the final touches of my first mini documentary, I'm already discovering my strengths and weakness throughout the process of it. Of course, in anything I produce there are always things that I want to improve in it - but that's what makes it amazing. Why? Because I am then able to incorporate that into what I produce next, making it bigger and better.

I'm excited for the greater things to come! My first ever documentary coming out this week is a start of that.

#OPTIMISM

Definitely pushing towards the TV journo direction - thank God!

I've been thinking of making this documentary on homelessness since last Summer 2013. I want the public to be aware of the fact that anyone can become homeless, and that homeless people shouldn't be labelled as incompetent - they all had lives before they ended up on the streets of London.

I posted on my Facebook page (www.facebook.com/hannahajalajournalist) about the release of my documentary "Homeless in London" which will be out on Thursday 23rd January 2014. I am receiving good reception which I am so pleased about!

Excited - Stay tuned!

Speaking with Tony, a man that has been homeless in London for the past two years, and kindly gave me the chance to interview him for my very own documentary!

Mind blowing

Best way to describe the enjoyable and eye-opening lunch and mentoring session with ITV Journalist, Charlene White.

I knew I was going to meet a news journalist working for ITV, but I didn't know WHO I was going to meet, in terms of how hard-working, intellectual, charismatic, bubbly, confident, and articulate she is!

Meeting such a very well-experienced, knowledgeable and extremely hard-working journalist is certainly one of the most daunting things I have ever experienced.

Not only does it inspire me, it really made me want to shake my act up and work a million times harder, AND more central to where I hope to be.

Great day overall! I'm looking forward to meeting her again a year from today, and for her to see how much further I've pushed!

What a woman :)
